Suzuki US is always broke in recent years... they probably just didn't bring it here to save money. Bringing products to the US means a huge investment in bribing, I mean, certifying with the government.

Because Americans don't buy naked bikes, because who the hell knows why they don't, because they should.

I strongly approve of half-faired sportbikes.

American motorcycle buyers are too swayed to the extremes.

It has to be:

an utterly useless chopper, that has such a bad rake angle that the forks bend rather than compressing, and can't turn around on a standard street, or

an utterly unusable overkill supersport race replica that doesn't even warm up at or under the speed limit, or

an utterly unutilized off-road-style beak bike, that looks like a giant dirt bike, but it too big and heavy to be maneuverable, or to be picked up when someone actually dumps it when they do try to ride it off pavement for the first time.

Real street sport bikes... I don't understand why they are so scarce.

Half faired, street-useable, decent-ergos, real-world sporty yet useable bikes are far too rare, and most companies don't even bother trying to sell them in Hardley Ableson's back yard anymore.

I am a huge sucker for half faired bikes. I actually have never ridden a street bike, but if I was going to get a bike right now, it would certainly be a Honda CB500F.
